Purposeful Living INC is here to serve the modern woman: the woman who looks like she has it all together but behind closed doors she’s hurting, searching, or lonely. We are here to love, to walk alongside, and to encourage women to be all God created us to be: peaceful, joyful, and authentic. Using inspiring events, empowerment coaching, growth groups, and community support, Purposeful Living is transforming women, marriages, and families. Through the love of Christ in a safe community, women are finding & living out their purpose thus creating a ripple effect in our world.


Nadine McGowan
Chief Servant Officer

Nadine is on a mission to heal, grow, inspire, and empower women to be all that God created them to be. She is a wife, mother, speaker, coach, and leader who is thankful that God can use her pain and messes for His glory and has turned them into a mission to redeem the hearts of women. Nadine is the founder and president of Purposeful Living INC. Nadine has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayne State University, a Coaching Certification through Coach University, and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling through Christian Leadership University.

Sara Hudson
Director of Development & Operations

Sara Hudson is our Director of Development and Operations where she keeps track of all the details. Sara is passionate about Purposeful Living because she loves the community of women lifting each other up during a time when so many women tear each other down. She has a B.A. in History (Theology minor) and several years of sales and fundraising experience. Sara lives in Indianapolis with her husband Scott and their children Sophia and Solomon.

Hannah Hansen

Residing on the Northwest side of Indianapolis, Hannah Hansen is a wife and stay-at-home mom to two daughters, with a son on the way. She received her undergraduate degree from Liberty University in Teaching English as a Second Language. In addition to her parenting role, Hannah serves on the staff of her church, Soma Northwest, as the Children’s Director and homeschools her 4 year old daughter.

Hannah was hired by Purposeful Living in late 2018 as the Administrative Assistant. Some of her responsibilities include newsletter creation, attendance and donation tracking, communications, and many other behind the scenes tasks.

Alison Martin

Alison Martin is the Founder and Chief Mentoring Officer of Diverse Talent Strategies, a consulting practice who helps companies attract, retain, and develop their talent through strategic mentoring initiatives and also works to create scalable community-based mentoring programs. With impressive and long-standing background work in non-profits, Alison’s passion for developing talent led her to start Diverse Talent Strategies in 2011. She also founded the Pass the Torch for Women Foundation in 2013. The Foundation was developed to provide mentoring for women at all stages of their career and their vision is a world of equal opportunities for women in professional environments.

She has two children and volunteers for Girls Inc, Purposeful Living INC, and serves on the board for the Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana, an organization dedicated to impacting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She was nominated for Indianapolis Best and Brightest in 2013 and was recognized with the Indiana Commission for Women’s Torchbearer award in 2014. She is the author of the book, “Learning to Lead Through Mentoring”, which outlines the 8 lessons one must consider before pursuing a mentoring relationship.

Casey Wright

Casey Wright is the Founder & CEO of NinjaZone. As a former olympic level gymnastics coach turned entrepreneur, Casey took her parents’ “cartwheel shop” and turned it into an internationally known licensing and curriculum development company, including 6 Indy area corporate stores. Casey is a mom and bonus-mom of 4 kids, a member of IBJ’s Indianapolis 40 Under 40, and voted Indiana Small Business Person of the Year by the SBA.

Through the evolution of NinjaZone, Casey has led her team to develop a system that is changing the lives of children daily. Now in over 300 locations throughout the world, NinjaZone is offering kids a safe place to be themselves, make mistakes, and learn how their bodies move. Taking her coaching prowess into business, Casey challenges her employees to think outside the box, learn from errors, and never stop dreaming. Casey and her staff are prepared to take the world by storm, transform the lives of children, and turn their energy into ambition...one awesome kid at a time.

Cynthia Pizzarro

Cynthia is the President and Founder of CSpring, a leading Indianapolis-based IT consulting firm.  She is also the Founder of Ohana Software, an employee engagement software company. Cynthia has spent her career building high-performance technology teams and solutions.  After spending two years as a programmer analyst at a Fortune 500 company, Cynthia transitioned her career into consulting. Since then, Cynthia has built founded three companies – two of which she is actively involved in today.  Cynthia has built a team of over 130 professionals at CSpring, serving forward-thinking clients in both the government and commercial sectors. She also oversees Ohana Software’s product and growth strategies. Cynthia’s love for Jesus and passion for people is what drives her to serve others – whether they be an employee, client, family member, or friend.  This passion is the reason she is excited to serve as a Board Member for Purposeful Living INC. Cynthia also serves on the boards of trueU and the Orr Fellowship. She and her husband, Peter, live in Carmel, IN with their two children and are members of College Park Church.

Marcus Manges

Marcus Manges lives in Fishers, IN with his wife, Jesika, and their 4 children. In his spare time, Marcus is the Regional President for Accelerent in Indianapolis, where he gets to work with many different executives across the city.

Marcus has always been passionate about building strong communities and believes that God designed us to live within community.  He has been a partner with Purposeful Living since the beginning, because he has seen the difference this community can make in the lives of so many women.  When women are served well and loved, they become better wives, mothers, entrepreneurs, employees, leaders, and friends - they are able to prop up the entire world.

He says that he has been encouraged by the growth of Purposeful Living so far, and is equally excited for the future.

Mark Dolfini

Mark Dolfini is a veteran of the U.S. Marines and the author of three real estate books, the first published in 2017 and the second released in the summer of 2018. His much anticipated 3rd book, The Time-Wealthy Investor 2.0, which was a #1 Amazon Bestseller, was recently released in January, 2019.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Purdue University and worked for Marriott International before venturing out full-time in the world of real estate investing. He is the Managing Broker for a property management company based out of Lafayette, where he has overseen the ownership and management of $40 million in real estate assets. He is also the founder of Landlord Coach, a real estate investor training company, and sits on numerous boards including the Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana, the National Federation of Independent Business, and is a Training Director for the Central Indiana BNI Franchise – a networking organization.

He spends his free time pistol shooting and kayaking and lives in Lafayette, Indiana where he and his wife Jennifer are raising their two sons, Leland and Logan.

Nikki Lewallen

Nikki Lewallen is an accomplished business development professional, speaker and philanthropist. As CEO of Rainmakers, Nikki supports the Indiana business community by providing a platform for authentic business growth. Nikki’s expertise in business development enables her to find and nurture strategic relationships that result in meaningful business outcomes. Under her leadership, Rainmakers is one of the premiere business networking organizations in Indianapolis and serves an average of 1200 members per year.

Nikki believes that for people to succeed in business and life, it is necessary for them to love what they do. It is this passion for employee engagement that led Nikki to join Emplify, a company devoted to helping millions of people find meaning in their work. Nikki works nationally alongside CEOs, Presidents and key executives to build employee engagement strategy by partnering with their human capital consultants.

Nikki is the show host for Gut + Science, a podcast that convenes key leaders across the nation to innovate on the talent hurdles of today’s world. Nikki holds a variety of non profit board positions around Indianapolis including the Indianapolis Rotary and Purposeful Living INC. She believes that the work we do on earth to produce abundance fuels the causes nearest and dearest to our hearts.

Rachel Downey

“Your work, your life, your art should strive to create an opportunity for others."

We live in a world full of shameless promotions, countless interruptions, and limited thinking. Rachel seeks to identify, connect, and create opportunities for others to live in abundance. In doing so, she helps them share their genius into the world through compelling and valuable content.

With an innate ability to connect with humans first on all levels, plus her years of work in storytelling through B2B marketing, live performance, and large scale events (ex. ESPYs), Rachel empowers people to be more, to be great by identifying their unique gifts - their genius. Whether it’s with global brand executives, marketers, podcasters, or her two daughters, she takes you on a journey that will impact not only your organization but your life.

Ray Hilbert

As Co-Founder and former CEO of Truth At Work, Ray is responsible for developing high level strategic relationships, facilitating Round Table groups, helping to establish new markets, developing curriculum, and serving as the host of The Bottom Line Faith podcast.

As a thought leader and a highly sought after speaker in the field, Ray has worked with business owners, CEOs, executives, and pastors, both nationally and internationally. His writing, coaching, and speaking to the issues of faith integration and business have equipped thousands of leaders to build strong, faith-integrated organizations. Along with Todd Hopkins, Ray has co-authored two books; “The Janitor- How an Unexpected Friendship Transformed a CEO and His Company,” and “Carrot Chaser.” Ray is currently working on two additional books.

Prior to co-founding Truth At Work, Ray was a Regional Director for the Promise Keepers ministry, working to coordinate conferences and developing training and leadership curriculum within churches. He received his undergraduate Marketing and Business degree from Anderson University and his Masters of Business Administration from Taylor University.

Ray currently enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, Beth, and their children -- a son and two daughters.

Rusty DeWitt

Rusty DeWitt is a Sales Director for Comcast Business, covering the Indiana and Kentucky regions. He has almost 10 years of experience with the company.  He is passionate about his role in developing sales leaders to achieve their career goals and aspirations. He is a 2001 graduate of Ball State University.

Rusty and his wife, Jessica DeWitt, were introduced to Purposeful Living through an invitation to attend the organization’s one year anniversary event and quickly became passionate about the Purposeful Living mission to serve modern women through the love of Christ.  His wife serves as the CARE team leader.

Rusty and Jessica have two beautiful girls, Olivia and Nora.  He and his family are members of Grace Church. They balance their hectic schedules with weekends on the lake, and enjoy hosting gatherings for family, friends and neighbors.   Rusty also likes to cook and travel.

Shanner Drake

Shanner Drake serves as a member of the Purposeful Living INC Board of Directors. Shanner graduated from Wabash College where he majored in Religion and Business and obtained his MBA from Anderson University and currently is a Director of Human Resources within the Department of Homeland Security.

Shanner and his wife Christina are dedicated supporters of Purposeful Living INC and love seeing the ministry serving women within their community.

Shanner is married to Christina, who serves on the Purposeful Living Leadership Team as the Growth Group Coordinator. They are 37 years away from their 50th anniversary and are the proud parents to three dogs.

Yasmin Stump

Yasmin L. Stump is the president and founder of Yasmin L. Stump Law Group, PC (YLSLG), located in Carmel, Indiana. Yasmin has over 30 years of experience as a lawyer in Indiana and focuses her law practice in the areas of real estate transactions and real estate litigation, including eminent domain. Since founding her own law firm in 2000, Yasmin has led the YLSLG team in eminent domain cases in the two largest public improvement projects in the United States and award-winning projects across Indiana. Additionally, her firm was awarded the 2018 Employer of the Year by the International Right of Way Association Hoosier State Chapter.

Yasmin is a member of numerous professional, civic and charitable organizations.  In addition to Purposeful Living INC, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the International Right of Way Association Chapter 10 and the New Buffalo (Michigan) Yacht Club and on the Dress for Success Stepping Out in Style Logistics Committee.  Yasmin is also a past president of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce.

As a woman whose business is certified as a Woman-Owned Business by several organizations, Yasmin cares deeply about supporting and uplifting other women and supports and serves in multiple foundations that encourage women toward professional and personal success.


Leadership Team

Amber Sheffer

Amber Sheffer is the CEO and Promotional Products Rockstar for JAM Printing & Promotions, with more than 20 years of marketing and public relations experience. In 2013, she founded JAM with her husband Jerry. JAM serves non-profits and businesses of all sizes, using tangible branding pieces to help with marketing and employee/client appreciation.

Christina Drake

Christina Drake serves as the Growth Group Coordinator and is on the Purposeful Living INC leadership team.  She graduated from Rose-Hulman with an electrical engineering degree, obtained her MBA and now manages a team that works within the power industry.  Christina is very passionate about personal growth and restoration and loves Purposeful Living’s mission to link arms with all women to help support each other instead of competing and tearing down.  She is married to a wonderful husband and has three dogs – a chocolate lab and two tiny shih tzus.

DeAnna Gipson

For her day job, DeAnna Gipson works as a Claims Analyst for adidas Indy, but her true passion lies in event planning. DeAnna has helped countless individuals and organizations plan their perfect event -- whether that be a wedding, a fundraiser, or any other sort of party or event. Her dual degree in Travel and Tourism and Events Management prepared her well for the role.

Within Purposeful Living, DeAnna uses her gifts as a graphic designer to fulfill the role of Creative Solutions. She creates programs, invitations, and many other types of communications for Purposeful Living. She loves being able to give back in this way.

In her free time, DeAnna loves to travel with her husband as much as possible and spend time with their playful cat, Sherlock.

Ida Johnson

Ida Johnson is a dedicated follower and lover of Jesus Christ who has a passion for assisting women, children and families in healing from domestic violence and sexual abuse. Over the past 14 years, Ida has served in various capacities of social work that include mentoring, case management, grant writing, program development, facilitator and advocate.  

Ida is the former Project Director for Enriching Marriages in Indiana and Director of Hope United Family Services.  She has educated many women and children in various settings that include schools, shelters, churches & correctional facilities.

Ida received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. She has been married for 25 years and has five children and ten adorable grandchildren. To balance her creative side, Ida enjoys planning, floral design, decorating, catering, and executing events. She is also the owner of Maggie J Designs and Catering.

Jamie McCabe

Jamie is a proud mom of 3 and franchise owner with N2 Publishing. Within that role, she produces private neighborhood publications to affluent communities. Jamie helps businesses reach their target audience, sell advertising, and put on social events for the residents and partners. She loves helping people get connected.

Jamie has a special needs Autistic son who is almost 7 years old.  Over a year ago, she felt lonely and isolated. She didn’t know any other special needs parents. Jamie was able to find healing through Purposeful Living. Through that healing, she and her husband were able to start a bible study group program for special needs families. They run this program 3 times a year for 8 weeks at a time. It has become a true passion. Jamie has found Purposeful Living to be a blessing to her in helping her find healing, and she loves helping others do the same.

Jessica DeWitt

Jessica DeWitt resides in Noblesville IN with her husband Rusty, and their two daughters Olivia and Nora. She attends Grace Church in Noblesville.  She works for Kronos as a Public Sector sales executive helping cities and counties automate processes and create efficiencies to reduce compliance risk, improve productivity and reduce labor costs.  

Jessica was introduced to Purposeful Living in January of 2018. She eagerly began serving as the volunteer care coordinator providing encouragement, love and hope to women in the community. She now has a team of women who have a desire to serve and love on women in our community thru cards, care baskets, meals, services and resources. She is passionate about lifting women up thru all seasons of life and wants every woman to know that she is worthy, she is loved, she is cherished, and she is a beautiful masterpiece of God.

Mary Warner

Growing up in Carmel and now residing in Westfield, Mary has lived in Hamilton County all her life. She is mother of three daughters and grandmother of four. Mary has worked for a General Contractor/Developer in Indianapolis for most of her career and spends her vacations traveling throughout the U.S., the Caribbean, and, more recently, the South Pacific and Australia.  Her next trip is planned for cruising to Europe and exploring before flying home from Spain.

Mary's passion is coaching and mentoring women, especially in the areas of healthy relationships, personal boundaries, and becoming all they were meant to be. Because of challenges she met and overcame in her life, Mary's desire is to encourage, support and love others as they walk through their own challenges.

Mendi Funk

Since she was a child, Mendi’s passion has been helping people. Over the years, she has acted on that passion by volunteering and stepping in when and where she sees a need. She acknowledges that the Lord has blessed her life and she believes that everyone has experiences that give them the ability and compassion to help others. Mendi serves others as a business and personal concierge and asks God to direct her in her business and to show her how she can help others.

Mendi was thrilled when Purposeful Living asked her to be their Outreach Coordinator because it is in alignment with her passion of helping others. She loves to connect women with the resources Purposeful Living and other area organizations provide.

Sissy Humphries

Sissy Humphries is passionate about staying connected in a community of strong women where she can thrive, be challenged, and be used to help build other women up to better navigate life through prayer.

She began refining her gift and love of prayer, as well as her desire for building up women, while attending and leading bible studies, life groups and women’s ministries since 2000. Sissy is a pioneer member of New Life Church in Lakewood, OH where she attributes much of her servanthood experience.

Sissy and Tommy, her husband of 8 yrs. live in Lawrence Township with their spoiled Doberman Pinscher, Grady.
